The hit movie musical Wicked is landing on physical media, including 4K Blu-ray in March. Details below.
Were you too embarrassed to sing out ‘Popular’ in a packed-out screening of Jon M Chu’s Wicked? Did you get dirty looks in the cinema for belting out ‘Defying Gravity’ despite Cynthia Erivo encouraging you to do so? Were you shushed for jamming out to ‘Dancing Through Life’?
Well, you can soon sing your heart out at home as Wicked arrives on physical media in March. The hit musical was previously listed for physical media release in February, but that date has now been pushed to 10th March, it seems.
The film tells the story of Glinda and Elphaba, years before they’d be known as Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch Of The West. Wicked, or Wicked Part I, only tells half the story, with Wicked: For Good arriving on 21st November 2025.
We were big fans of the film. In our review, we called it “a musical adaptation done right; it takes what makes the stage version so iconic and long-lasting and adjusts it in all the right ways for the screen.”
Wicked will be available on DVD, Blu-Ray and 4K and you can pre-order it here.

The DVD doesn’t seem to have any extras included (a common occurrence with standard def disc releases these days, sadly). The Blu-ray comes with the deleted scenes, the two commentaries, the making-of featurette as well as the ever-important sing-along version.
