Vanessa Kirby will be joining Hugh Jackman and Laura Dern in Florian Zeller’s The Son.
Vanessa Kirby (Pieces Of A Woman) has joined the cast of The Son, Florian Zeller’s follow-up to award winning The Father. Kirby will join previously announced Hugh Jackman (The Greatest Showman) and Laura Dern (Marriage Story) in the film, similarly adapted from Zeller’s original play by Zeller and Christopher Hampton.
The Son looks at another tough topic, focussing on adolescent depression that the titular Son faces, and the effect this has on his divorced parents, Jackman and Dern. Kirby will be playing Jackman’s wife.
Though there is currently no production date announced, we’re sure we’ll be hearing plenty more about this one while we wait for a trailer.
