Generally, the term ‘killer jeans’ is used in a complimentary fashion, to compliment somebody for sartorial excellence in the field of form-fitting denim. Soon though, the phrase will take on a much darker turn with the release of Slaxx, an unhinged horror comedy that involves a a fashion retailer in lockdown, lots of good-looking but vacuous young people and yes, a pair of killer jeans… that actually kill.
If youāre a fan of Peter Stricklandās In Fabric, the rather unsettling tale of a killer dress, then Slaxx might be the movie for you. Theyād certainly make a perfect double-bill, although how youād feel about wearing clothes again afterwards, we can only guess. The tone of Slaxx looks much lighter than Stricklandās film however, with some gross-out horror to boot. The film is directed by Elza Kephart and will debut on Shudderand will be available on March 18th. In the meantime, you can check out the trailer below. ā Thank you for visiting!
