True Detective is one of the most critically acclaimed television dramas of recent years, winning a slew of awards over its three seasons to date, with a fourth currently in production.
Creator and showrunner Nic Pizzolatto is making his feature directorial debut with Easy’s Waltz, which is described as “Swingers meets A Star Is Born”. The plot will follow a comedian and crooner navigating the Las Vegas strip with old school Vegas personalities.
Vince Vaughn will headline the film alongside Michelle Monahan, Al Pacino and Simon Rex.
Pizzolatto will write and direct.
