Jennifer Lopez reinvents herself as an assassin in The Mother – here’s the first trailer for her latest movie.
After some uneven film, Jennifer Lopez is on a winning streak. Receiving acclaim for her performance in 2019’s Hustlers, now she looks to push herself even further in The Mother. The official synopsis reads as follows:
While fleeing from dangerous assailants, an assassin comes out of hiding to protect her daughter she left earlier in life.
Lopez stars, alongside Joseph Fiennes, Lucy Paez, Omari Hardwick, Paul Raci and Gael Garcia Bernal.
Niki Caro, who recently helmed the 2020 live action remake of Mulan, directs from a screenplay by Andrea Berloff, Peter Craig and Misha Green, based on a story by Green.
