The legendary skateboard pioneer Tony Hawk is the subject of Until the Wheels Fall Off, a new feature-length documentary that is set to release in the US next month.
The trailer has launched for a new documentary charting the incredible career of legendary skateboarder, Tony Hawk. The film, which debuts on HBO Max in the US next month promises to look at Hawkās incredible career trajectory over the few decades following his rise to fame after completing the 900, one of the most fearsomely technical skateboarding tricks of them all.
Hawk would go on to become the global face of the sport following his continued success, his association with the popular line of PlayStation skateboarding video games, and for his philanthropic work. The film looks set to chart all of this, and boasts an impressive, era-hopping soundtrack too, with iconic bands like The Clash, The Sex Pistols, Echo and The Bunnymen, Joy Division, Pavement, Oingo Boingo, The Replacements, XTC, and New Order all featuring.
Unfortunately, no UK release date has yet been announced, but weāll keep our ears to the ground and let you know when that changes.
