Tobin Bell is reprising his role as the iconic Jigsaw Killer one again, as Saw 10 suggests business as usual.
They say you can’t keep a good man down. It seems the same applies to serial killers.
The news is in that Tobin Bell is reprising his most iconic role as John Kramer/Jigsaw in Saw 10. Given that he died pretty unequivocally onscreen many films ago and still keeps coming, the most interesting aspect will be the plot the writers have come up with to justify it. Of course, that fact hasn’t stopped him appearing in every subsequent Saw instalment bar the most recent Spiral, with Kramer’s Machiavellian scheming reaching superhuman levels of foreknowledge by the time of Saw: The Final Chapter.
While plot details for the next film are being kept under wraps, we do know that it will be directed by franchise stalwart Kevin Greutert, who edited Saw to Saw 5 and Jigsaw and directed Saw VI and Saw: The Final Chapter. Jigsaw writers Josh Stolberg and Peter Goldfinger have returned to pen the screenplay. We can also be fairly certain it will contain even more unbelievably torturous traps.
Saw 10 is currently scheduled for release on 27th October 2023, we’ll keep you updated as we hear more.
