Timothée Chalamet and Michael Stuhlbarg will be reuniting with Call Me By Your Name director Luca Guadagnino for Bones And All.
Luca Guadagnino has added Michael Stuhlbarg to his first US film Bones And All, reuniting him with his on-screen son Timothée Chalamet. Along with Stuhlbarg, Guadagnino has also added Chloe Sevigny (The Dead Don’t Die), André Holland (Moonlight) and Jessica Harper (Suspiria) alongside previously announced Mark Rylance (The Trial Of The Chicago 7).
Fans of Call Me By Your Name shouldn’t expect similar fare however, as the plot for Bones And All is a little… different, shall we say – “Maren Yearly who is on a cross-country trip as she searches for the father she’s never met in an attempt to understand why she has the urge to kill and eat the people that love her.”
The director has also been speaking about the chances of the Call Me By Your Name sequel fans have been waiting for. Unfortunately it doesn’t sound like good news. Chalamet has had scheduling difficulties with big blockbusters like Dune and now Wonka taking up time, and with Armie Hammer being dropped from numerous projects due to off-screen issues, it already seemed to be getting further from reality. Guadagnino added to this, explaining that whilst his heart is still with the project in Italy, he is busy working on his own films, including a Scarface reboot.
