Writer/director Hosainiās last film My Brother the Devil (2013) premiered at Sundance Film Festival winning the World Cinema Cinematography: Dramatic prize before securing El Hosaini the Best British Newcomer prize at the BFI London Film Festival and Best European Film at Berlinale. Itās currently available to watch on Amazon Prime. She has written the screenplay for The Swimmers alongside Jack Thorne (Enola Holmes).
