Nicole Kidman sure loves a murder mystery. Not only is she keen for another season of Big Little Lies, she’s now starring in Netflix’s The Perfect Couple, another ambitious, star-studded show centering on a murder.
The series is based on Elin Hilderbrand’s book and the author is also executive producing the series. Susanne Bier is directing and Jenna Lamia is acting as showrunner.
Netflix has also set up a dedicated page for the series on their Tudum platform. The page includes a formal invite to the wedding as well as the full schedule for the festivities. Interestingly the press release doesn’t state how many episodes the series consists of but The Hollywood Reporter reports The Perfect Couple will be 6 episodes.
Joining Kidman in the show’s cast are Dakota Fanning, Eve Hewson, Billy Howle, Jack Reynor, Ishaan Khatter, Meghann Fahy, Sam Nivola, Michael Beach, Donna Lynne Champlin, Mia Isaac, with Liev Schreiber and Isabelle Adjani.

As secrets come to light, the stage is set for a real-life investigation that feels plucked from the pages of one of Greer’s novels. Suddenly, everyone is a suspect.
