Director Henry Selick’s animated favourite The Nightmare Before Christmas is coming to 4K disc in the UK from Disney.
Given Disney’s tepid approach to catalogue physical media releases, let’s class this as a very welcome surprise. Henry Selick’s movie Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas will be arriving on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format in the UK this October, presumably to mark the 40th anniversary of the film.
That said, the film seems to have a slight title change! It’s listed as Disney’s The Nightmare Before Christmas at the moment, even though Tim Burton’s name is still on it. The new release also comes with a Blu-ray in the box, that carries across the sing-a-along version too and previous extra features.
