With filming unable to be completed on The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, Warner Bros delays the film to next summer.
Warner Bros continues to jiggle around its release slate, and it’s unsurprisingly, it’s now announced that the release of the next The Conjuring film is the latest to be put back.
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It was on the schedules for a release on September 11th of this year. However, the problem here is that the film hasn’t been finished. Reshoot work was due to be undertaken back in April, and for fairly obvious reasons, that’s not been able to happen.
As such, until it’s safe to shoot the new material for the film, this one remains unfinished. With that in mind, Warner Bros has now announced that the film has moved back the best part of a year, and will now be with us on June 4th 2021.
The new release date assumes that in the forthcoming months it’ll be possible to complete the additional photography, of course. As we get more news, we’ll let you know.
