Tenet delayed again, now moves to August

Christopher Nolan’s Tenet will now not be in cinemas until mid-August, as Warner Bros delays the film slightly for a second time. The flat-out determination of Warner Bros and Christopher Nolan to debut the film Tenet in cinemas shows no sign of wavering. But also, both are taking a realistic viewpoint when it comes to just when it makes it to the screen. Amidst delays to cinemas reopening in New York and Los Angeles, Warner Bros has moved the film’s roll-out again, this time to August 12^th. This follows an early pushback that saw the film go from July 17^th to July 31^st. The delay has been announced in the US thus far, but it’s inevitable that’ll affect the rest of the world too. The plan is for a global release date and that’s seemingly what the movie is going to get. There’s a further knock-on too, in that Warner Bros had lined up the tenth anniversary release of Inception for July 17^th. That looks like it’s going back to July 31^st, to take Tenet’s previous slot. This all leaves Mulan from Disney as the blockbuster that’s set to reopen cinemas in July.
