Netflix releases a bit of an odd trailer, highlighting the likes of Knives Out 2, The Gray Man and Enola Holmes 2.
Netflix has once again released a preview of its annual movie slate, with its 2022 offering taking the humble trailer in an interesting direction. Rather than simply watching clips of their upcoming films as is traditionally the case, gird yourself for the starry ensemble within those clips to suddenly stare right at you, before reeling off a cheesy one-liner.
It doesn’t even matter what they’re doing: engaging in a high-speed car chase, running atop a moving tram, no matter, these A-listers aren’t at the front of the alphabet for nothing. Be assured that it doesn’t matter how deadly a situation they may be embroiled in, they’ll still take the time to give you, dear viewer, a quality moment of their time.
Frankly, it’s all a little disconcerting, but that just makes it unintentionally hilarious. So please, check it out, even if you normally avoid such things.
