Gary Oldman is back as the grumpy, unshowered Jackson Lamb in AppleTV+’s hit series. Watch the Slow Horses season 4 trailer below.
Ever since AppleTV+ announced Slow Horses was returning for season 4 this September, we’ve been counting the days until we can visit Slough House once again. With only a couple more weeks to go, AppleTV+ has released the first trailer for the highly-anticipated new season of Slow Horses.
Take a look at the Slow Horses season 4 trailer below.
The series is adapted from Mick Herron’s Spook Street, the fifth book in the Slough House series. The series has been popular with audiences and critics alike and season 3 recently scored nine Emmy nominations.
Gary Oldman plays Jackson Lamb, a “brilliant but misanthropic leader” of a group of spies who are assigned to Slough House. As Lamb notes in the trailer, Slough House is reserved for losers and spies who have managed to piss someone off.
Jack Lowden, Kristin Scott Thomas, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan and Jonathan Pryce also star in the series with Hugo Weaving, Joanna Scanlan, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke and James Callis joining them in season 4.
Season 5 of Slow Horseshas already been announced and filming has already taken place, as noted by Deadline in their coverage of the trailer. There’s no release date for season 5, but season 4 will premiere on 4th September on AppleTV+ with weekly episodes to follow. The fourth season consists of six episodes with the finale airing on 9th October.
