Seven is coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK, with a posh collector’s boxset now on sale: more here.
Yeah, yeah. I know I’m supposed to write it as Se7en, but crap like that is how we ended up with The Expend4bles. I’ll stick to Seven if that’s okay with you.
Still, less controversy over the quality of David Fincher’s second film, the stunning crime thriller from 1995, that brought Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow and a whole lot of car air fresheners to the big screen under one roof.
David Fincher’s films are represented pretty well on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on the whole, although quite what happened to Panic Room remains a mystery. It sounds as though a shift and a half is being put in for Seven though.

Thus far, only the posh expensive versions have gone up for preorder, and the Seven Ultimate Collector’s Edition comes with a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Steelbook, as well as a booklet, art cards, poster and more.
We don’t as of yet have a release date, but the film is expected in the first three months of 2024. The posh limited editions are likely to sell relatively quickly, so thought you might want to know about it.
When we get confirmation of the version for those who don’t want the expensive boxset, we’ll bring you that information too.
