Sci-fi thriller Companion is on the way from the team behind Barbarian, and the first details of the new movie have landed.
Barbarian was one of the breakout horror hits of last year, and if you’ve not had the pleasure, then it currently resides on the Disney+ service. Its director, Zach Cregger, is currently preparing his next feature, an ambitious horror epic called Weapons, which currently has Pedro Pascal attached to star.
Cregger and production companies Boulderlight and New Line are reteaming to produce Companion, a sci-fi thriller whose plot is currently under wraps.
Drew Hancock makes his directorial debut and also penned the screenplay, which was won in a fierce bidding war at the start of the year. The Boys actor Jack Quaid has signed on to star.
