Demonic possession novel Suburban Hell is coming to the big screen, with two big names behind the camera, here are the first details.
Sam Raimi, of course, is synonymous with horror after helming the iconic Evil Dead and many of its sequels. Paul Feig, however, is better known for comedies like Bridesmaids and Spy. The two directors haven’t really crossed before, but they’re now joining forces for a new film.
Suburban Hell tells the story of a tight-knit group of suburban moms who must band together when one of them becomes possessed by the devil. And both Feig and Raimi are involved.
Neither will direct, instead they will both oversee the project as producers. Bojack Horseman producer Joanna Calo has been tapped to write the script, based on the novel by Maureen Kilmer.
