Ray Fisher has taken to Twitter to explain, in long form, his thoughts on Warner Bros and DC Films’ investigation into Justice League.
Ray Fisher, it seems, is certainly not done taking a stand.
It was widely reported last week that the actor – who played Cyborg in 2017’s
Justice League – has been written out of the planned
FlashPoint movie, set for 2022, following his refusal to work with Walter Hamada, the head of WarnerMedia’s DC Films division.
Following his exit, Fisher has posted on Twitter, offering a detailed account of Hamada’s role in the investigation of the alleged ‘gross and abusive’ practices that took place on-set when Joss Whedon took control of the film from Zack Snyder. The actor makes several allegations, offering, for the first time, key details as to how Co-President Geoff Johns and Hamada were implicated.
We’d advise reading the entire post, but Fisher does make allegations that Geoff Johns had been ‘racist, coercive, discriminatory and retaliatory’, whilst denouncing Hamada as ‘false, cowardly and reckless.’ If lawyers are reading, these are allegations to which both parties have not yet responded.
You can see the whole tweet below, but what is clear is that Fisher is unwilling to allow what he believes to be falsehoods regarding his exit from the DCEU pass without challenge. More on this one as we hear it.
