The third film in the Now You See Me franchise is moving forward at Lionsgate, Ruben Fleischer will direct.
We havenāt had an update on the next
Now You See Me film for some time, with
Now You See Me 2 being released in 2016. Talk had trundled on of a third movie, with not much sign of it. Well, until now.
The films thus far centre around a group of magicians who are brought together under mysterious circumstances.
Now,
Now You See Me 3 is officially moving forward, with
Venom director Ruben Fleischer set to direct from a screenplay by Seth Grahame-Smith.
Fleischer said in a statement that “there are three things in this world I absolutely love… Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and magic. To have the chance to work with these two talented actors, as well as rest of the incredible cast of the ‘Now You See Me’ movies is a dream come true.
Aside from Fleischer mentioned Eisenberg and Harrelson, the return of the rest of the cast, which included Isla Fisher (replaced by Lizzy Caplan in the sequel) Dave Franco, and Morgan Freeman has not yet been confirmed.
