Lily-Rose Depp succumbs to the darkness in the full, creepy trailer for Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu. Take a look below.
In June, we were treated to a brief, but seductive teaser trailer for Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu. Drawing on the legend of the titular character, also known as Count Orlok, the film is only a few months away and we’ve now got a longer, more extensive look at the film.

Focus Features is still, smartly, keeping Bill Skarsgård’s Count Orlok in the darkness, aside from showing the occasional badly manicured hand. The Count is rather smitten with Lily-Rose Depp’s Ellen and she is slowly but surely also falling under his spell. We’re sure this is a love story for the ages, with a happy ending. Nothing could go wrong here.
Here’s the official synopsis: Robert Eggers’ NOSFERATU is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake.
The film also stars Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Willem Dafoe and Ralph Ineson. Eggers is not only directing but has also written the script for the film. He has also lured his frequent collaborator Jarin Blaschke to act as his director of photography, so we can be certain that Nosferatu will look amazing.
Nosferatu is set to hit US cinemas on 25th December but UK residents has to wait a few days longer to sink our teeth into the film. Nosferatu will be in UK cinemas 1st January.
