Six Humphrey Bogart films are coming together in a brand new Blu-ray boxset, many making their debut on the format.
Thus far, Indicator has released four terrific Columbia Noir boxsets of movies, each of which bringing together a collection of film noirs from the Columbia Pictures archive. Many have enjoyed their Blu-ray debut, and the sets have come laden with no shortage of extra features too.
Now we learn that the fifth such set is coming, and the focus is going to be on films of Humphrey Bogart.
In particular, Indicator’s Columbia Noir #5 set brings together six of his films: Dead Reckoning, Knock On Any Door, Tokyo Joe, Sirocco, The Family Secret and The Harder They Fall.
Each of the films has enjoyed remasters, and is joined by extra features (there are six commentary tracks for a start). And then the set is topped off with a 120 page book as well.
