The delayed movie of Tom Clancyās Without Remorse looks like itās on its way to Amazonās Prime Video service.
Paramount has pulled its already delayed adaptation of Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse from its release schedule altogether, seemingly confirming reports that the film is going directly to Amazon.
The special forces thriller, starring Michael B. Jordan, was first set to release in October of this year before being pushed back to February of 2021. Reports surfaced in July that Paramount, who has offloaded much of its slate to streaming services this year, were set to sell the film to Amazon, but nothing was confirmed. Now, with the film being entirely removed from the schedule, Variety is reporting that this is likely because a deal has been reached.
The film is based on Tom Clancy’s origin story for his John Kelly character, a Navy SEAL who seeks retribution for his wife’s murder at the hands of a cabal of drug lords. Amazon is already home to the Jack Ryan TV series, another Tom Clancy creation.
In related news, Paramount also pulled its planned Micronauts movie from the film schedule, most likely as the toy-based project is still in early development.
More news on Without Remorse, including a new release date, when we have it.
