Malignant is coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray

James Wan’s Malignant is getting a physical media release in the UK, and will land on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in May. When films don’t quite set the box office alight in the manner that’d been hoped, then the physical media release can sometimes suffer as a result of that. But whilst James Wan’s divisive Malignant didn’t do huge numbers, it certainly seems to have made up for it in conversation about just where the film went. Bottom line: the physical media release for this one is very much on. Malignant, stars Annabelle Wallis and Maddie Hasson, and was billed as Wan’s return to the kind of horror that made his name in the first place, before he went off to do blockbuster movies. It’s now heading to disc, we can confirm, on May 23rd 2022 in the UK, with a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release part of the line-up. What we don’t have as of yet is details of any extra features, but the film is available to preorder now, and you can find more information on it here.
