Every Saturday at 6pm throughout May, Lionsgate UK will be making a film available for free viewing, with a guest host for it each week too.
The latest company to offer its work for free during this period of lockdown is Lionsgate, that’s announced it’ll be hosting movie nights for the next four Saturdays. What’s more, it’s all for a good cause. Proceeds raised will go to NHS charities and the film and TV emergency response cause.
The studio will, then, be live streaming four of its films over the next four Saturdays, free of charge on YouTube. Each week, the film will be introduced by a guest host too.
Hosts who have been recruited are Edith Bowman, Keith Lemon, Jack Whitehall and Jonathan Ross.
And the programme of movies? The schedule is as follows:
May 2nd: La La Land
May 9th: Eddie the Eagle
May 16th: Bend It Like Beckham
May 23rd: The Hunger Games
Each film will start at 6pm on the Lionsgate YouTube channel, that you can find here.
