An āodd coupleā sci-fi action flick starring Liam Neeson and Joe Keery and penned by Jurassic Park's David Koepp? More details on Cold Storage here.
The tradition of the unlikely heroes, thrust together by a situation spiraling out of control, has resulted in some wonderful movies over the years. From
Lethal Weapon to
Die Hard With A Vengeance, thereās plenty of mileage in the comedic bickering of characters who donāt get on, but simply have to given the situation that they find themselves in.
Of course, casting and chemistry are always key in these situations and thatās why weāre so intrigued by the announcement that Liam Neeson will be starring alongside Joe Keery in
Cold Storage, a film that follows a retired bio-terror operative who is forced to join forces with employees in a military facility to prevent an alien virus from leaking into the world.
Nobody does grumpy, reluctant action hero like Neeson and Joe Keery has proved himself already as a brilliant co-star in an āunlikely coupleā dynamic. His on-screen relationship with Gaten Matarazzoās Dustin in
Stranger Things is one of the popular seriesā greatest joys and as such, weāre interested to see what these two cook up.
StudioCanal is backing the project and
Doctor Who and
Westworld director
, Jonny Campbell is helming. Excitingly, the script has been penned by none other than David Koepp, the writer behind
Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible and 2002ās
Spider-Man. Thatās about all we know right now, and will bring you more details as we hear them.
