Quentin Tarantinoās Jackie Brown, and his Kill Bill films, are coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK this March. More here.
The work of Quentin Tarantino is decently represented on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format, and after the releases we’re talking about here, there’s only Death Proof, Four Rooms, Django Unchained and The Hateful Eight that are going to be missing.
That’s because at the end of March, we get the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray debuts of Jackie Brown, Kill Bill Vol 1 and Kill Bill Vol 2. All three are coming our way courtesy of Lionsgate, and all three now have a UK release date of 31st March 2025.
You can find Jackie Brown and order a copy here.
Kill Bill Vol 1 is here.
And Kill Bill Vol 2 is right here.
In the first instance, each of them is being released in Steelbook collector’s sets. They come with a premium price for the privilege of £34.99 apiece. It’s likely that we’ll get a more economic version of each further down the line.
Each comes with two discs, presumably a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and a standard Blu-ray, with the latter carrying over any additional features from previous releases. Outside of the 4K remastering and sound, there’s no known further additional material here.
Still, it’s been a hell of a wait to get these three films onto the 4K format, and each is up for preorder now.
This is generally the point in the article when we’d list the synopses for the films, but yknow, if you’ve got this far, you probably know what you’re getting into.
When we hear news on the missing Quentin Tarantino 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray films, we’ll let you know. And who knows? One day, someone might even put something like Destiny Turns On The Radio out on the format too…
