The recently-announced partnership between James Wanās Atomic Monster and Jason Blumās production company is set to yield more movies.
It was
announced recently that James Wanās production company Atomic Monster would be forming a partnership with Blumhouse Productions, with both companies operating as part of Universal Pictures. The move was designed to increase the scope and scale of each companyās respective horror productions and increase the collaborations that weāve already seen with films like the upcoming
M3gan which has been earning
rave reviews.
Now the two companies have announced another collaboration in the form of
Night Swim, a āsupernatural thriller built around the hidden source of terror found in an iconic backyard swimming pool.ā
The film is set for a January 19th 2024 release under the Universal Pictures banner, with Wan and Blum sharing production credits.
Wyatt Russell and Kerry Condon are set to star. Following a sizeable role in
The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, Russell is set to feature in the MCUās
Thunderbolts movie, whilst Condon can currently be seen sharing the screen with Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson in
The Banshees Of Inisherin. Bryce McGuire will helm the project.
McGuireās directorial credits so far include
The White Room and
Never Ever for Blumhouse. We donāt know a lot else about this project at the moment but weāll let you know more as we do.
