James Bond: full steam ahead for No Time To Die

The promotional campaign for the new James Bond film gets back underway, suggesting No Time To Die will be with us in November. It seems as though any remaining doubts over whether the next James Bond film stays in its current release slot or not have been dampened, at least for now, by the box office performance of Tenet over the past few days. The Christopher Nolan movie has performed ahead of expectations, given the cinema ecosystem it launches into, and thus No Time To Die looks set to keep its November release slot. There had been speculation in the summer of a further delay to the film – it was originally scheduled for the spring – but it now looks as though UAR in the US and Universal elsewhere in the world has committed to the November release. As such, the promotional campaign is ramping back up. First up is a new poster for the movie, that looks like this… … and then later in the week – Thursday as it happens – we’re getting a fresh trailer for the film. It’s unlikely that the various parties behind the movie would commit to a fresh promotional campaign if it didn’t think a release was feasible. Of course, this all assumes that the world is fortunate and a second wave of the dreaded pox doesn’t hit hard. For now, though, James Bond is set to return in November.
