It may not have set the box office alight in the way that’d been hoped, but Jon M Chu’s film of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Broadway musical In The Heights has nonetheless been a high watermark for this year’s summer movies. A big screen musical and a memorable one at that, it’s still just about playing in UK cinemas as these words are being written.
