Paul Verhoeven’s infamous movie Showgirls arrives at its 25th birthday this year, with a reputation over time just a little kinder than it was when it first arrived in cinemas. And it’s this that’s explored in the new film You Don’t Nomi, a documentary that revisits the movie, and how it’s become something of a cult classic over time.
The film is the work of Jeffrey McHale, who has written, produced and directed the documentary. And You Don’t Nomi is now being lined up for a release in the UK at the end of this week, via assorted on demand stores and platforms.

The film is being released in the UK via Bullfrog Film Distribution, and it’s available from June 12th. It has an 18 certificate.
