Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3 wonāt be on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K disc in the UK until October ā but it lands on Disney+ in August.
The best reviewed Marvel movie in some time has proven to be James Gunn’s exit from the company’s world:
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3. Written and directed by Gunn, the movie has grossed just shy of $850m on its theatrical run, and stands also as Disney’s biggest box office performer of the year so far.
Now the movie is heading to home release, and it’s already been made available via video on demand services to buy. Disney has now confirmed too that the movie will be hitting the Disney+ streaming service on August 2
nd.
The physical media release though is following a little way behind, reversing the recent trend from Disney. We’re hearing that the UK release of the film on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray won’t be following until October 2
nd, and when we have confirmation of that, we’ll pop another post up.
For now, the Disney+ release is a couple of weeks away. And James Gunn is now camped up at Warner Bros, designing the future of DC films and preparing his upcoming
Superman movie…
