The first part of an upcoming RL Stine anthology is coming to Netflix this weekend: hereās a preview of Fear Street right here.
Netflix has launched the standalone trailer for the first part of its upcoming horror anthology,
Fear Street, which is due to drop onto the service this coming weekend.
Whilst weāve seen a trailer already, giving us a glimpse of all three films, this particular one focuses on the seriesā first instalment,
Part 1: 1994 which, unsurprisingly given the title, is set in the 1990s. In that chapter, āa group of teenagers discovers that the terrifying events that have haunted their town for generations āmay all be connected – and that they may be the next targets.ā
RL Stine is of course a best-selling author of many a junior horror title, including the
Goosebumps series, which already has a fun film adaptation itself (and a decent sequel too).
Fear Street Part 1: 1994 will tie into the other two films, both of which are set in earlier decades and both of which release in July.
Fear Street Part 1: 1994 hits Netflix on July 2nd and will be followed by
Fear Street Part 2: 1978 on July 9th and
Fear Street Part 3: 1666 on July 16th.
Check out the trailer below, but donāt blame us if you canāt sleep afterwards.
