Peter Pan & Wendy, directed by Pete's Dragon's David Lowery, is heading to Disney+ at the end of April – here’s the full trailer.
David Lowery has directed the upcoming live action take on Peter Pan, and the film will be heading to the Disney+ streaming platform in April. Lowery has so far to managed to flit between commercial projects like Pete’s Dragon and arthouse films like A Ghost Story and The Green Knight.
The synopsis reads as follows:
Peter Pan & Wendy introduces Wendy Darling, a young girl afraid to leave her childhood home behind, who meets Peter Pan, a boy who refuses to grow up. Alongside her brothers and a tiny fairy, Tinker Bell, she travels with Peter to the magical world of Neverland. There, she encounters an evil pirate captain, Captain Hook, and embarks on a thrilling and dangerous adventure that will change her life forever.
The film stars Alexander Molony as Peter, Ever Anderson as Wendy Darling, Yara Shahidi as Tinker Bell, Jude Law as Captain Hook, Jim Gaffigan as Mr. Smee, as well as Alan Tudyk, Molly Parker, Joshua Pickering and Jacobi Jupe,
Peter Pan and Wendy will be released on Disney+ on the 28th April.
