The full trailer for the upcoming thriller Deep Water has been released, starring Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck.
The full trailer has been launched for the upcoming thriller, Deep Water, in which Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas are set to play opposite each other as a couple that engage in twisted mind games. The film is set to release here in the UK on Amazon Prime on March 18th.
The erotic thriller has made a few headlines since its completion, not least because Disney elected to sell the Fox 2000 project to streaming services. Adrian Lyne’s return to directing for the first time in a couple of decades has also heightened interest too, with the helmer renowned for making several favourites in this genre such as Fatal Attraction and Indecent Proposal. Deep Water was produced under the New Regency banner of Fox, meaning Disney acquired it when it purchased Fox and its entire library of films. The project has a history of problems, originally languishing in development hell for years when director, Mike Nichols was attached to it back in 2013. But then once on track, its release date was pushed back significantly by the factors surrounding the pandemic.
Deep Water ‘follows a married couple, held together only due to a strange arrangement between the two; however, when that goes awry, they begin to play mind games against each other, causing others around them to die mysteriously.’
