First trailer released for Halloween Ends

You can catch a glimpse of Michael Myers’ latest return in Halloween Ends right here, as the first trailer for the movie lands. If there’s one thing Michael Myers is good at, it’s coming back. It’s an improbable feat that he’s managed more times than we care to remember. The iconic horror monster even managed to return following a global pandemic, so it was always an inevitability that he’d return for a trilogy installment for the legacy Halloween series. Naturally, the film will be returning in time for this year’s Halloween, with the film set for an October 14th release. Halloween Ends is the follow-up to 2021’s Halloween Kills, a film that leaned heavily into the legacy aspects of the series, whilst also navigating into gorier territory than we’d previously experienced. David Gordon Green returns to direct the third cheaper of the planned trilogy with Jamie Lee Curtis also present to make her final turn as Laurie Strode, the ultimate ‘final girl.’ Green, along with other members of the production have spoken in the past about how provocative this final film is set to be, meaning it could end up being even more divisive than the previous installment. We’ll find out this October, but until then here’s a synopsis and that trailer, should you want a taste of the horror to come: Four years after the events of Halloween Kills (2021), Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the spectre of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life.
