Keanu Reeves leads the voice cast ensemble in this preview of the upcoming animated adventure DC Super Pets.
With The Batman currently in cinemas, making lots and lots and money, fans seem to be taking to Robert Pattinson’s darker-than-dark take on the Dark Knight. However, if you prefer your Batman with a little more levity, then you’ll definitely want to check out the new trailer for Super-Pets where Keanu Reeves’ turn as the Caped Crusader takes centre stage.
The film itself likely won’t centre on Batman or the other Justice League characters as the plot revolves around their capture. The synopsis for it reads:
When Superman and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypto must convince a rag-tag shelter pack to master their own newfound powers and help him rescue the Super Heroes.
Krypto, Superman’s Wonder Dog is voiced by Dwayne Johnson, Whilst Superman himself is voiced by John Krasinski. Kate McKinnon, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna, Thomas Middleditch, Ben Schwartz all feature too, as well as Marc Maron as Lex Luthor.
The film releases on May 18th in some territories, whilst we’ll be getting it on the 20th, along with our American chums. Here’s the trailer…
