Emma Roberts is headlining the brand new romantic comedy Space Cadet, and here are the first details.
From 2020’s underrated Holidate to the upcoming Madame Web, Emma Roberts certainly likes to choose an eclectic variety of scripts.
This trend is set to continue with Space Cadet. The plot follows Florida party girl Rex, who turns out to be the only hope for the NASA space program. A fluke puts her in training with other candidates who may have better resumes, but she must use her heart, street smarts and moxie to win through in the end.
Roberts will star as Rex as well as executive producing the film.
Liz W. Garcia, perhaps best known for helming 2012’s The Lifeguard starring Kristen Bell, will write and direct.
Space Cadet is currently in production and it will then be released worldwide via Amazon Prime Video. More on the film as we hear it.
