Six Minutes To Midnight, co-written and starring Eddie Izzard, has reappeared on the UK cinema release schedule.
A movie that was set to head into cinemas in May was the promising-looking Six Minutes To Midnight, the first feature film to in part come from the pen of Eddie Izzard. Izzard has written the script alongside Andy Goddard and Celyn Jones, with Goddard also directing the picture.
Izzard leads the ensemble too, along with Dame Judi Dench, James D’Arcy and Jim Broadbent.
The film tells the story of a teacher sent to a finishing school on the coast of England, where he discovers that the students there include the daughters of Nazi high command. It shot in the summer of 2018, and hopefully we’ll get a trailer shortly.
The release date had been earmarked for May 29th 2020. But then, understandably, Lionsgate took it off its release schedule. Now, though, we learn that it’s returned, and the film will now be heading to cinemas – appreciating that these things can change again quite quickly – on September 25th. No sign of a trailer yet, but we’ll keep you posted as we hear and see more.
