Fresh, a thriller starring Daisy Edgar-Jones and Sebastian Stan, has been delayed by two weeks. It was due for release on Disney+ on 4th March, but has now been given a new release date ā 18th March. Itās unclear why the date has shifted, but itās sure to be a disappointment for those looking forward to seeing the film this weekend.
Fresh made its debut at this yearsā Sundance Film Festival, and was picked up by the Disney-owned Searchlight Pictures. The thriller follows Noa, played by Daisy Edgar-Jones, who meets Sebastian Stanās Steve at a grocery store. Fed up with online dating, she takes a chance and gives him her number. After only their first date he invites her on a romantic weekend getaway and she happily accepts, only to find that Steve has been hiding some unusual appetites.
The film is the feature directorial debut of Mimi Cave, and the script is penned by
Ibiza writer Lauryn Kahn. Also in the cast are
Twentiesā Jojo T. Gibbs, Charlotte Le Bon (from
The Hundred-Foot Journey), Andrea Bang (from
Kimās Convenience and
Luce), and Dayo Okeniyi, who has a supporting role in the Apple TV+ series

Fresh will be released on Disney+ on 18th March.
