Casting is underway for a film of Bad Dad.
Thus far, the books of David Walliams have been adapted for the screen as television specials, and very successfully so. But now, it looks as thought Netflix is set to turn one of the hugely popular titles into a movie as well.
The book in question is Bad Dad, that came out last year. And Netflix is picking up the rights with a view of turning it into a movie for its service. Thus far, it’s just at the casting stage for the production, with no names as of yet attached to the project. Likewise, we don’t know who is writing the screenplay and who is directing. Just that the existence of the film has come to light via casting call details.
Look for an official announcement in due course, and we’ll of course keep you posted as and when we hear anything new.
