Zack Snyder is working on an IMAX-ratio remaster of Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, heās revealed.
It turns out that it’s not just
Justice League that director Zack Snyder is tinkering with. It’s well known that the director is working on a Snyder Cut take on the 2017 superhero mash-up, that HBO Max will be debuting in 2021. Thatās set to expand the original movie significantly, and finally give Snyder the chance to assemble his own version of it.
But, as per his posts on the social media site Vero, Snyder has also revealed that he’s working on a remaster of his earlier
Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. This will be a version of the film presented entirely in the IMAX ratio (in this case 1.33:1), and Snyder posted of the recropping “I forgot how much was cropped out”.
He added – and you can see a summary of his posts here – that the likelihood is we’ll get this on home formats and it’ll also head to HBO Max. But furthermore, the new presentation of
Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice will be with us before Snyder’s new take on
Justice League.
