A Quiet Place – Part II UK release date jumps forward

The sequel to A Quiet Place moves forward three months in the UK, with it now set to land in cinemas this coming June. At the point where the UK first went into lockdown back in March 2020, posters were already on the side of buses for John Krasinski’s eagerly-anticipated sequel, A Quiet Place – Part II. In fact, the first UK screening was scheduled for the very week that cinemas shut their doors, and the film has undergone a few delays since. The latest appeared to have moved its release back to September 2021, some 18 months after it was originally set to debut. Now though, we learn that Paramount Pictures has – almost in line with a similar move in the US – brought the release in the UK forward. A Quiet Place – Part II is now on the UK cinema release schedules for Friday June 4^th, a jump back forward of three months. This time around, when lockdown lifts, the early signs are that Hollywood studios are going to be nowhere near as shy in releasing their movies. We’ll wait and see how that pans out.
