Allow us to add another one to the list of highly anticipated TV shows heading our way. Netflix have adapted Liu Cixin’s novel of the same name and the final trailer has just emerged online.

I’m going to be brutally honest here. Based on the trailer alone, I have no idea what this show is about. Aliens, perhaps?
That’s not to say I’m not intrigued.
Maybe the official synopsis from Netflix will help decipher what’s going on?
A young woman’s fateful decision in 1960s China reverberates across space and time into the present day. When the laws of nature inexplicably unravel before their eyes, a close-knit group of brilliant scientists join forces with an unorthodox detective to confront the greatest threat in humanity’s history.
No, I still don’t have a clue what 3 Body Problem is about, but the trailer has got my attention for sure. The cast alone is enough to persuade me to press play on it. Jovan Adepo, John Bradley, Rosalind Chao, Liam Cunningham, Eiza González, Jess Hong, Marlo Kelly, Alex Sharp, Sea Shimooka, Zine Tseng, Saamer Usmani, Benedict Wong and Jonathan Pryce all star.
David Benioff and DB Weiss have collaborated with True Blood’s Alexander Woo in creating and writing the show for Netflix, while Derek Tsang, Andrew Stanton, Minkie Spiro and Jeremy Podeswa are all directing.
The series will have its world premiere at the SXSW festival tomorrow (8th March) before premiering on Netflix 21st March.
