British festive comedy A Cottage Christmas, directed by Danny Stack and Tim Clague, will be streaming in December – here are the details.
Filmmaking duo Danny Stack and Tim Clague have made a name for themselves by writing and directing a succession of successful low budget features, often around the Dorset area.
In 2015, Harry Potter star Bonnie Wright was among the cast of their feature directorial debut, family comedy Who Killed Nelson Nutmeg. Last year saw the release of sci-fi comedy Future TX, starring comedian Griff Rhys-Jones.
They have recently wrapped production on A Cottage Christmas, which was shot in a little over two weeks around Bournemouth and Poole.
Fresh Meat star Kimberly Nixon plays an “American event planner in the movie who comes to the UK to arrange her younger half-sister’s wedding in time for Christmas Eve but finds an unexpected romance of her own in the process. Poppy Gilbert plays her slightly kooky half-sister, while newcomer Lewis Griffith is Nixon’s love interest.”
Other cast members include Russell Clive Biles and Jenni Bowden.
Stack and Clague directed the film from a script by Reel One and their development team.
A Cottage Christmas will be released in December, the exact details are yet to be confirmed.
