The Wrath Of Becky revisits the titular girl as she fights yet more home invaders, and here’s the teaser trailer.
Becky was a surprise hit in 2020. It saw Lulu Wilson’s heroine fight back against a gang of convicts, led by an unusually dark turn from Kevin James.
The Wrath Of Becky won’t change the formula too much by the looks if it. The official synopsis reads as follows…
Two years after she escaped a violent attack on her family, Becky attempts to rebuild her life in the care of an older woman – a kindred spirit named Elena. But when a group known as the “Noble Men” break into their home, attack them, and take her beloved dog, Diego, Becky must return to her old ways to protect herself and her loved ones.
Wilson returns in the title role. Continuing the trend of casting comic actors against type, Seann William Scott plays central antagonist Darryl. Denise Burse, Jill Larson, Courtney Gains, Michael Sirow, Aaron Dalla Villa, Matt Angel, and Kate Siegel are also in the cast.
Matt Angel and Suzanne Coote directed the film and penned the story, Angel wrote the screenplay.
