It’s arriving a year later than planned, and here is the brand new full trailer for Steven Spielberg’s next film, his remake of West Side Story.
The full trailer for Steven Spielberg’s next film, an adaptation of the classic Broadway musical West Side Story, has launched. As you’d expect from a film by Spielberg, the film – which is set to release in December – looks visually incredible and it looks like the reported $100m budget can be seen upon the screen, from lavish set pieces to wonderful sets and costumes.
Spielberg, who has stated that the original soundtrack to the Broadway play was the first piece of popular music ever allowed into his home, has kept the original musical numbers within the film. The film looks to be the crowning number in what has been a great year for cinematic musicals, from In Tthe Heights to Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, which is just about to release on Amazon Prime here in the UK.
