The delayed final bout of Jackass mayhem will explode onto screens early next year, Paramount Pictures has confirmed.
The final outing for those masochistic Jackass folks, Jackass Forever, was supposed to make its bow next month, until Paramount decided to delay a slew of films due to the spiraling number of Delta variant case numbers and the potential damage they might cause to box office numbers.
Jackass Forever then, now has a new release date of February 4th, 2022.
This also moves the film out of the shadow of No Time To Die, so you can see Paramount’s logic here. The film will mark the final one in a series that spawned all the way back in 2002 with Jackass: The Movie. We’d imagine, despite their undoubted spirit of adventure, the gang are all getting on a bit now, and can only put themselves through crazy shenanigans for so much longer before their insurance companies begin to send their premiums through the stratosphere. Therefore, we have Jackass Forever to bid goodbye to a group that have given us all manner of juvenile giggles over the last 20 years.
Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Jason ‘Wee Man’ Acuna, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Ehren McGhehey and Preston Lacy are all back, although one star who won’t be returning is Bam Margera, who was allegedly fired by Paramount due to his erratic lifestyle in the last couple of years.
