To celebrate its 25th birthday, Wes Craven’s Scream is heading to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK.
Ahead of the release of the new film in the saga – confusingly going by the name of
Scream – the original
Scream movie is celebrating its 25
th anniversary this very year. Directed by Wes Craven, the film was quite the sensation when it first landed, and its ripples through the horror genre are still felt to this day. But with the new film set for early next year, we’re now getting the original on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format.
The UK release of it has now been confirmed too, with Paramount putting the film out. It’ll land on 4K on 18
th October 2021. We don’t as of yet have details of extra features, just that it’s happening.
