The Mary Elizabeth Winstead-headlined assassin movie Kate will arrive in September, it has been announced: hereās a taste.
Netflix has announced a release date for
Kate, the upcoming action thriller that follows a female assassinās final 24 hours, as she seeks to hunt down and kill those that have poisoned her.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead of
Birds Of Prey will star as the titular assassin, alongside Woody Harrelson, Michiel Huisman, Tadanobu Asano, Jun Kunimura, and Miyavi. The film is directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan who helmed
The Huntsman: Winter’s War.
The film is set to release on September 10th on the streaming service, with a shiny but tiny date announcement trailer being released to announce the the planned release.
The news comes as part of Netflixās #GEEKEDWEEK programme where itās been drip-feeding all kinds of interesting projects thus far. The snippets weāve seen so far boast a gorgeous visual richness to them that should make this one a treat to watch. Weāll keep you posted as we hear more.
